OPEN POSITIONS

This position is responsible for purchasing goods and services in accordance with cost, quality, and delivery needs of Outside Van.

Essential Functions & Major Responsibilities

  • Creates purchase orders, follows up with suppliers, and ensures accurate pricing and timely deliveries.
  • Review acknowledgements for purchase orders and resolve any discrepancies with the supplier to the best possible advantage for Outside Van. Escalates vendor issues to management when necessary.
  • Develops and maintains an efficient and accurate system for monitoring all open purchase orders.
  • Shop for best sources, seeks opportunities for cost savings, and escalates price increases to management.
  • Communicates with Inventory Control to ensure smooth receipt of incoming orders and delivery to appropriate end use locations/departments.
  • Works with Inventory Control to resolve vendor issues with damaged items for return/replacement or warranty work.
  • Supports the Sales and Service Team by providing pricing information in a timely manner.
  • Represent the Supply Chain department in “pre-build” meetings.
  • Assist with physical inventory counts and ensure the reporting systems are updated accurately.
  • Work with Supply Chain Manager and Inventory Control to review inventory for excess and obsolescence and makes recommendations for disposition/resolution.
  • Maintain QuickBooks item master and associated databases.
  • Resolve invoice discrepancies with vendors.
  • Friendly and effective communication with both external and internal partners.
  • Perform other tasks and projects as needed.

Qualifications (Education & Experience)

  • BA / BS undergraduate degree in Business Management or Supply Chain preferred
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience in purchasing, supply chain, planning/scheduling, inventory management, shipping/receiving in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with ERP systems and QuickBooks.
  • Proficient with MS Office.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
  • Ability to work independently, but also be a strong team player.

  • Use basic knowledge of 120v for wiring gfci outlets, inverter connection, and other 120v products.
  • Use handheld tools, impact driver, drill, crimpers, wire strippers, multi-meter, test light, vehicle code reader, and other tools.
  • Use previous professional car audio installation skills to complete projects while always increasing quality of work.
  • Communicate installation status and troubleshooting results with the lead of electrical team.

Qualifications (Education & Experience)

  • 2+ years of relevant work experience similar to RV technicians with structural, electrical and plumbing preferred
  • Must have 12-volt electronic, automotive, mechanical and/or technical work knowledge.
  • Must have a valid driver license and a good driving record.

  • AC/DC fundamentals are preferred

This position is responsible for the day-to-day customer support for both service and warranty as well as customer upfits. Responsibilities include full cycle customer service for estimating, planning and execution of all service and warranty issues while exceeding customer expectations. Additionally, working with the team on the upfit process from defining requirements, executing plans, delivering on the desired customer experience, and being profitable.

Essential Functions & Major Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all customer communication related to service, warranty and upfit experiences. This includes everything from answering phones, following up with the planning & execution, welcoming customers, execute the delivery and ensuring an exceptional customer experience throughout the process.
  • Triage all service and warranty concerns, work with supporting team members to establish pricing, time estimate and scheduling for the customer.
  • Prepare and review of all upfit design pricing, time estimate and scheduling, as well as maintain planned profitability on all upfits.
  • Responsible for the scheduling of all service, warranty and upfit jobs.
  • Responsible for providing purchasing requisitions for each job.
  • Responsible for being proactive with warranty and/or recall issues that may arise, reaching out to customers and upgrading and/or replacing known issues.
  • Responsible for being proactive with upfits as we widen the gap and discover better opportunities that should be passed on to existing customers.
  • Management of the customer experience to ensure our customer are fulfilled from start to finish and return as repeat customers.
  • Routine connection and collaboration between departments and teams.
  • Other duties as assigned/needed.
