OPEN POSITIONS

This position is responsible for producing machined parts by utilizing predetermined programming, setting up, and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine; maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; maintaining equipment and supplies.

Essential Functions & Major Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with engineer/production manager for orders, processes, and/or problems.
  • Program equipment and adjust machine controls, such as heating mechanisms, tensions, or speeds, to produce specified products. Adjust as fabrics and styles change.
  • Operate machines to cut multiple layers of fabric into parts for upholstery. Run test runs to verify adjustments and to obtain product samples.
  • Inspect products to ensure that the quality standards and specifications are met.
  • Record information about work completed and machine settings.
  • Clean, oil, and lubricate machines, using air hoses, cleaning solutions, rags, oilcans, and grease guns.
  • Notify supervisors of mechanical malfunctions.

This position is responsible for supporting the plant to ensure vans are shipped out timely and that all paperwork and inspections have been passed and submitted.  Responsibilities include: inspection and recording of delivered chassis, Log all necessary information into dealership portal regarding each chassis that is purchased.

Essential Functions & Major Responsibilities

  • Communicate with Mercedes Benz dealerships
  • Receive chassis, which includes inspection and recording, maintain current chassis inventory document
  • Check out all inventory leaving, making sure the appropriate stickers have been attached
  • Coordinate chassis movement between North and South buildings
  • Coordinate flow of incoming and outgoing vans
  • Act as liaison between RV dealerships and facility
  • Prepare all documentation for shipping to dealership, including secondary MSO
  • Input van information on dealership’s BOA LOC
  • Responsible for following up on every unit delivered to ensure warranties have been activated

This position is responsible for supporting the plant to ensure vans are built timely and accurately. Responsibilities include assembling and installing electrical components into the vans.

Essential Functions & Major Responsibilities

  • Perform assembly and installation of manufactured and purchased material, hardware and electrical components. Such as 12v components, solar panels, roof top vents, air conditioner, battery banks, exterior/interior lighting, radios, amps, motorized running boards, water pumps, and other 12v product
  • Use basic knowledge of 120v for wiring gfci outlets, inverter connection, and other 120v products
  • Use handheld tools, impact driver, drill, crimpers, wire strippers, multi-meter, test light, vehicle code reader, and other tools
  • Clean your components and your areas of work inside the van before it leaves your station
  • Communicate installation status and troubleshooting results with the lead of electrical team
  • Performs other miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Qualifications (Education & Experience)

  • 1-2 years of relevant work experience similar to RV technicians with electrical preferred
  • Must have 12-volt electronic, automotive, mechanical and/or technical work knowledge.
  • Read and understand schematics, drawings, and invoices
  • Experience with use of hand and power tools
  • AC/DC fundamentals are preferred
  • Ability to work in both a team environment and independently

This position is responsible for detailing the inside and outside of the vans to prepare them for delivery to the customer.

Essential Functions & Major Responsibilities

  • Perform cleaning of vehicles using cleaning supplies and equipment such as brushes, scrapers, vacuums, cleaning solutions, etc.
  • Apply polisher, conditioners, waxes and/or masking materials to preserve, protect and restore vehicle’s interior and exterior.
  • Clean engine and engine compartments.
  • Maintain cleaning supply inventories.
  • Monitor the cleaning equipment for proper operation and maintenance.
  • Inspect parts, equipment and vehicles for cleanliness and damage.
  • Maintain a clean area and orderly work area and report any unsafe or hazardous conditions.
  • Help maintain overall site appearance including general cleaning of the interior and exterior of shop location.

  • Operate, calibrate, adjust, and maintain edge bander.
  • Quality control finished edge banding.
  • Ensure that there is proper adhesion.
  • Ensure that flat and radius edges are set properly.
  • Manage and maintain all materials, tools, and logs for edge banding.
  • Understand and perform all proper operational and safety procedures.
  • Know all proper operational temperatures, pressures, and deflections.
  • Understand and be able to make all key adjustments.
  • Establish maintenance, service, and parts logs for edge bander.
  • Maintain strict adherence to cleaning, lubricating, and maintenance of machine (Including factory maintenance schedule).
  • Be able to operate different wood working tools, such as hand router, table router, table saw, jig saw, panel saw, drill press, blum machine, belt sander, palm sander, 12v impact gun, 12v drill gun, biscuit joiner and heat gun

This position is responsible for the day to day operations of Outside Van’s CNC router; primary responsibilities include using Computer Numerical Control router(s) to cut various material such as wood and plastic to cut standard parts.

Essential Functions & Major Responsibilities

  • Setup, calibration and arrange the CNC router properly before beginning any, and all work – properly shut down the machine at the end of each day.
  • Read and comprehend blueprints as instructions for the machine.
  • Firm understanding of how to read and interpret assembly drawings.
  • Operate the machine safely at all times.
  • Knowledge and understanding of CNC tooling; monitor the life of the tools and change when needed.
  • Clean, maintain, and perform routine inspections on the machine, including creating and maintaining the maintenance schedule for the machine.
  • Attend and occasionally guide safety and educational training meetings.
  • Train apprentices and backup on how to use and maintain the router properly.
  • Create, implement and verify SOP’s, Work Instructions and forms as needed for new or revised equipment and processes.
  • Create and manage daily scheduling for the router that supports the production demand.
  • May be involved in fabrication, operation, application, installation, and/or repair of products.
  • Work directly with and interface with both production staff and engineering team.
  • Support safety guidelines and quality inspections.
