“This isn’t a fight, it’s a dance, and the mountain always leads.” Jim Bowden
Carefully crafted for an active family of three (and one dog) that love to spend their winter months slope-side, BusBus is a quaint home away from home! BusBus was one of the more unique snowsport-centric builds we’ve created lately. An interior ski rack with three removable rungs creates a modular space when hauling lots of gear. Crossing snowy terrain gets more accessible with an Agile Off-Road Ride Improvement Package and Agile “No Rub” Front Tire Fender.
What BusBus skips on interior bells and whistles, it more than makes up for in comfort! A two-panel bed system and mattress offer a comfy place to rest tired legs. Custom flares, designed by our friends at FlareSpace, were installed in the rear quarter panels to allow for extended perpendicular sleeping. A DOT-approved two-person Travois bench and convertible bed latch securely via Mac’s VersaTie Track in the cabin. BusBus features a 38″ cabinet with storage drawers and a 4.6 cu—Ft—Isotherm refrigerator. A 20-gallon freshwater tank supplies the exterior shower, keeping gear, apparel, and people clean.
Powering BusBus are two 315Ah lithium-ion batteries, for a total of 630Ah. A Wakespeed secondary alternator works in conjunction with the Lithionics power system. A Rigid Industries 50″ light bar is mounted to the safari roof rack illuminating snowy conditions. Additional premium Rigid Industries lights are featured throughout the build. Heating hot water for an exterior shower is easy with an Espar Hydronic Diesel Water Heating System. Finally, cabin air stays toasty thanks to a Webasto Top Air EVO 40 Heating System.
