No Trail Too Tough
Built in 2020, Sidewinder is a custom-made van with a completely modular layout. Depending on how many people are traveling, the 3 person bench seat can hold up to 5 passengers or be removed for a solo mission. The 3 panel bed provides a queen-sized sleeping area. The dropdown front panel and a hinging middle panel also create a comfy sitting area for hanging out in the van. The entire bed system is also removable, so that the single bunk underneath can be used for solo trips. The galley kitchen is fully equipped with a sink, refrigerator, and induction cooktop. The Espar hydronic heating system provides warm cabin air and warm water for the sink and shower, and the rooftop aftermarket A/C keeps things cool in the summer. With 2 AGM batteries, a 2000 watt inverter, a 130 watt solar panel on the roof, and a secondary alternator that directly charges the batteries while the van’s idle or in motion, this power system is unstoppable and traveling off-grid for days is worry-free.
