It’s about the journey, not the destination for this newly retired couple. Their 2021 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 144 is ready to assist them on their treks to visit family across the United States. They’ll stop to enjoy biking, hiking, and bird watching along the way! Slow Journey is the right tool to connect them with nature and community.

Maximizing every open space in Slow Journey is crucial for extended time away from home. An overhead cab shelf, exoskeleton cabinet, push-lock closed cabinets, galley kitchen drawers, and under-seat storage drawers offer plenty of storage solutions. Illuminating the interior is a 36″ ultra-slim under cabinet light, flush mount LED overhead lighting with dimmer, and two triangular high-output LED lights mounted under the bed rails to brighten the gear storage area. A medium galley cabinet featuring a bamboo countertop with extended flip-up prep table, sink with glass top and fold down faucet, refrigerator, and induction stove nestle in-front of two opposing 26″ benches.

Slow Journey offers substantial power thanks to 300Ah of Lithium-Ion batteries including a top-of-the-line 2000 Watt Magnum inverter with built in high-efficiency charger. A 280XP alternator kit includes an external voltage regulator, working with all power systems to optimize charging while motor is running.
