Earthworks Bound

Joint Venture Van is a 2021 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 144 built for a couple who love science, history, art, and enjoying all of these studies while outside. A major destination for Joint Venture Van will be to various earthworks across North America. An archeology term, earthworks are changes in land level, typically made from piles of artificially placed or sculpted rocks and soil. These piles themselves can be archaeological features, or they can show features beneath the ground surface.

Joint Venture Van packs lots of comfort onto a 144 chassis. Utilizing extended sleeping flares from Flarespace allow for each person to fully extend for maximum rest and comfort on a two-panel bed, mattress, and memory foam topper. A custom bench seat behind the galley internally houses the 19-gallon freshwater tank and water heater. This bench seamlessly collapses into additional sleeping with the use of a Lagun table.  Unique to Joint Venture Van is a dedicated trash bin drawer within the galley cabinet! This cozy kitchen space features a refrigerator, sink and faucet, modular induction stove, cabinets, and plenty of outlets. For even more time spent outdoors, a fold down table makes prep or snacking easy without tracking in debris.

With 600Ah of Lithium-Ion batteries, 2000W magnum inverter, 280XP secondary alternator, and rooftop space for a solar panel, this van will have no problem staying off-grid on its way from Portland to Tennessee, New England, Canada, and beyond! Loaded with Rigid Industries lights, an Owl Vans bike mount, Owl Vans ladder and spare tire carrier, and large cargo box complete the exterior.
