Karlsbad-Van is a 2021 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 170 built for a busy family and their headstrong but well-intentioned dog. Their naming convention developed: “Karl, our dog, is often bad and was a rescue from Carlsbad, CA.” We love the lighthearted, tongue-in-cheek nature of this! Van life should be fun and playful.

Karlsbad-Van’s Lonseal Lonridge Moondust interior flooring ensures the two dinette seats covered with Sunbrella Piazza Ruby fabric pop nicely. In addition, these dinette benches include a hidden panel that can fold across the middle, perfect for extra sleeping space. Main sleeping is achieved on the raised, removable 3-panel bed and custom mattress. A 19-gallon freshwater tank supplies the interior sink and exterior shower. The kitchen also features an induction stove and overhead cabinetry with a microwave, refrigerator, and storage space.

With an upgraded power system featuring 630Ah of lithium batteries, a 2,000W inverter, a Wakespeed secondary alternator, and 140W rooftop solar panels, Karlsbad-Van will stay powered up while running off-grid for extended periods with no worries.
