“You can be miserable before you have a cookie and you can be miserable after you eat a cookie but you can’t be miserable while you are eating a cookie.” –Ina Garten

Trail Mix combines a few of our favorite things, vans, great food, and outdoor exploration. This 2021 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 170 was built for an active chef who loves to spend time away from the kitchen immersed in the mountains or coast of our beautiful Cascadia region.

Trail Mix’s cozy dinette seating and Lagun table creates room for two to sit and enjoy Washington’s premiere fresh oysters and geoducks while a cold bottle of Oregon’s best Rosé chills in the Isotherm refrigerator. A hidden panel fold across these bench seats to create an additional sleeping area tucked below the main 3-panel bed system. Rinsing foraged finds in the wild is a cinch in the galley sink connected to the 19-gallon freshwater tank and that drains into a 13-gallon grey water tank. Also important, storage options include an overhead exoskeleton cabinet, push-lock overhead cabinet, and open cab shelf.

Taking Trail Mix across the Pacific Northwest’s immense biodiversity on a tour of agricultural abundance is a 630Ah ReLion lithium battery system. This power system works in-conjunction with a 2000W Magnum inverter and 280XP secondary alternator. A 140W rooftop solar panel creates a trickle charge of power, helpful during the days that aren’t overcast and rainy.
