Wild Child

Customer Van

“We are what we pretend to be, so we must be careful about what we pretend to be.” –Kurt Vonnegut, Mother Night

When enjoying hiking, biking, and foraging adventures in the backcountry, Wild Child is a perfect basecamp to return to. Built for a solo adventurer with their compass aimed toward the Florida Keys this 2019 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 144 is ready for its first long distance trip.

Blue isn’t the only color to adorn this van. There’s a bright pop of color from the custom hammered copper 16″ sink. This compliments the matte black one handle high arc pulldown faucet nicely. Wild Child’s galley features an induction stove, refrigerator, 28-gallon freshwater tank, drop down table in the slider door, and plenty of overhead cabinetry. In addition to 2-panel bed system, flares on either side of the raised platform create additional sleeping space from side-to-side. The driver side flare is complete with an Arctic Tern window that opens allowing ventilation. A DOT-approved Travois Sierra Seat Bed creates additional seating and sleeping when traveling with a friend.

With 630Ah of lithium battery power, 280XP Wakespeed alternator, 2000W inverter, and rooftop solar panels, staying charged up on the journey to Florida won’t be an issue. High mileage treks off-grid require a sturdy chassis. Wild Child is outfitted with an Agile Off-Road Ride Improvement Package. This includes Agile’s front coil over conversion kit, Agile tuned IFP rear shocks, custom rear leaf springs and four wheel spacers.
