Utilizing their van as a base camp for these adventures will allow them to visit the places they love together. This spring, they are planning a road trip down through Crater Lake and the Redwoods, and in the summer probably do some backpacking around Mt. Rainier, St. Helens, and Adams in Washington.

The first thing you’ll notice when the passenger slider door opens is the three removable DOT-approved captain’s chairs. The family can sit together between black diamond runs at the removable table on the locking marine base system. Create meals quickly in the galley kitchen. Keep snacks stored on the hanging shelves or overhead cabinetry. Pull out frozen treats from the dual-drawer Vitrifigo DW180 RFX refrigerator. Warm up meals quickly with the induction stove. Wash dishes in the rectangular deep undermount sink. Ladybug features a 30-gallon water system also feeding to the rear exterior shower. This family can spread out on dual 3-panel upper and lower beds when it’s time to rest.

Ladybugs love to eat aphids for their energy. Power for this Ladybug comes from 630Ah of lithium-ion batteries. This works alongside a 2000W Magnum inverter and 280XP secondary alternator. (5) 110V outlets and (5) USB/USB-C outlets charge all electronics. A Webasto Air Top EVO 40 Diesel Heating System maintains warm cabin air, while Espar Hydronic Diesel Water Heating System creates on-demand hot water.

In the garage, we’ve installed our new 60″x18″ gear glider, perfect for mounting bikes or other equipment. A side driver ladder and rear ladder make roof access a breeze on the exterior. Bike mounts on the rear ladder create additional space for hauling.
